General Questions

Why is there a temporary class schedule?

Some of you may know us from Culpeppers, as we get settled into the new norm. We're trying to find the best locations & venues for our dancers. We decided to have a temporary schedule in place so if a venue doesn't suit us we will no longer host classes there.

Who can attend class?

All our classes are 18+. We do not allow any spectators, this is for various reasons including making everyone attending class feel as comfortable as possible plus limited space in venues.

How do I know the class is right for me?

It's hard to know if a class is the right one for you. Do we dance the dances you know? or teach in the style you like? Why not come & try it. We've put together a helpful guide on our 'Classes' page, it's full of information as well as the most recent teaches. If you're still not sure, email Courtney & she'll make sure you're attending a class that suits you!

How do I book class?

Our booking pages are locked to those who have approved accounts. To get started all you need to do is email Courtney at peppersteppersuk@gmail.com with your name and a bit about your line dancing background, even if you don't have any. She'll take you through the steps - it's nice & easy.

Can I attend multiple classes in one evening?

Yes, you can attend all evening for our experienced dancers. Book both classes just make sure Courtney knows so she doesn't think you've booked the wrong class lol.

How can I pay for class?

All classes are pay on arrival. You can pay for classes however you want, we accept cash & card - contactless, Apple/Google Pay etc.

What do I need to bring?

Wear something suitable for dancing. Nothing too grippy or slippy on your feet, some wear dance shoes or cowboy boots but it's not essential - we advise no flip-flops, sandals, high heels/stilettos. Wear comfortable clothing, jeans & a tee or even gym wear - as much as it's line dancing you will still get a sweat on. Don't forget a fan for the warmer months - please no clacker fans.

Some of the venues we dance at will require you to bring along a drink - no alcohol. If you are attending Vange Primary School in Basildon or The Paddocks on Canvey Islands you need need to do this. If you are attending at Nevendon Community Centre in Wickford, please water soft/drinks there is an onsite bar open from 12noon.

Will I still have to pay even if I don't show up?

Our cancellation policy is if you cancel within 24hrs we have to right to charge you a cancellation fee. If you can cancel class within a few hours we will charge you via a payment link.

How do I manage my upcoming classes? What if I can't make it?

It's super easy to manage all of your upcoming classes, log in to your account and head to 'My Classes'. If you can't make a class, you can cancel up to 2 hours prior or reschedule to another day. If it is a last minute cancellation, you may be required to pay a cancellation fee.

Who can attend socials?

Again, they are strictly 18+. Anyone can attend a social as long as they have RSVP'd, it doesn't matter if you don't attend our classes. Our socials are not classes, they do not come with any instructions. They are full of requests & dances from across the decades, more suitable for dancers who attend class regularly.

How do I pay for a social?

Like classes you pay on arrival with whichever method suits you - cash or card.
